"Mexican Restaurant – Dyersville, IA Met up with friends for dinner tonight and had a great experience at Mixteca. We got there around 5:30 and the place was maybe a quarter full—perfect for settling in without a rush. Our friends joined shortly after, and from the get-go, the service was friendly and attentive. The chips and salsa hit the table first and made a strong impression. The salsa was fresh, full of flavor, and not runny like you get at some places. Chips were crisp and clearly fresh—not the bottom-of-the-bag stuff. Three of us ordered fajitas and they did not disappoint. Big portions, sizzling hot, and packed with flavor. You could tell they weren’t cutting corners. By 6:00 the place was filling up fast, but even as it got busy, the staff kept everything running smoothly. We never felt forgotten or rushed. All in all, a solid spot if you’re craving Mexican food. Great portions, good atmosphere, and excellent service. Definitely recommend this spot."
